Housing
I will support the creation of truly affordable housing that was promised to us through the Greenpoint/ Williamsburg rezoning, built with strong labor standards and tenant protections. I will restore multilingual constituent services that are so desperately needed and bring those services to mobile clinics across District 50. And I will protect small homeowners from abuses like deed theft and damage caused by adjacent development.
Tenant Protections
I support the protections against eviction without good cause for 75% of NY's tenants, and will continue to advocate against tenants' discrimination.
Tenant Support
I will restore the presence, language access, and visibility of the Assembly's local office to make sure tenants never feel left behind.
Affordable Housing
I support the new affordable housing 485x program, which includes greater labor protections and incentivizes affordability standards while addressing the need for more working class housing.
Small Homeowners
I support the Adjacent Neighbors Bill of Rights NYS A02517, to protect against damage caused by nextdoor development, as well as supportive services against deed theft and harassment.
